Glass-oriented design exhibition staging. The exhibition presents an important series of experiments that were carried out by designers at CIRVA using glass. The designers came from very different backgrounds but worked with glass artisans on the project.
Our aim was to create staging that would showcase the works by accentuating contrasts. The space is inhabited by the large architectural furniture. The pieces are covered with charred cork panels to create depth. This material is used for insulation and is 100% natural and recyclable. It absorbs light and sound, so creates contrast between the reflective surface of the glass and the matte texture of its support.
