Toluca Editions, which publishes unusual artists’ books, asked Normal Studio to design a case to display eight photographs by Paolo Gasparini. The container is made from a solid block of mirror-polished aluminium. It is a direct reference to the forms and chrome grilles of old American cars featured in Gasparini’s photographs under the heading “La llave” (The key).
