This large conference table was designed together with Korean master artisans for the opening of Platform-L, a contemporary art foundation belonging to a brand of leather goods in Seoul. The table is one of a kind and allows for various seating arrangements based on needs. It has a 3.50-metre lattice structure, with stained leather mats and hollow wooden trays in various shapes placed on top. It can be used as a conference table, a meeting table or a work table. Above all, it gives the impression of organised randomness. Its versatile nature means that it can change the entire purpose of a room and how it is used. The table is made from a local variety of red pine by a Korean master carpenter who uses traditional bonding and assembly techniques.
