This exhibition came ahead of a design promotion programme initiated by the French Ministry of Culture: les Capsules du Design (Design Capsules). The aim was to bring works from French public collections and create a travelling exhibition. Each capsule is a self-supporting structure, clad in survival blankets that reflect their surroundings. This material is evocative of satellites and space capsules. The collections are displayed inside and reflected on the walls.
